Back to the Mac

In episode V, I returned to the Apple platform to produce my show. I tried to go the PC route, but in an Apple-dominated forum where WMV files won't cut it, I felt it was easier to conform to the norms and do it the Mac way.

My production was not too complicated, although it was constrained by a 3 day assignment at Lockheed Martin last week with the Air Force, followed immediately by a road trip to Austin for the UT game and a little 6th Street action. In the end, I found enough time today to knock out the podcast on schedule.

I addressed a topic I touched on in the past and took it to another level of detail. Hopefully, this is a podcast that will help people better understand what's going on with their car when it starts acting up. I'm the type of person who has to be at least halfway informed on everything, so I like to pass that along to everyone else. Even if you don't know the information 100%, the fact that you've heard it will help. I also try not to over-complicate it with advanced terminology, so if I start losing you, let me know!

Hey man, nice job! I was looking for some visuals, but maybe next time. I liked the new sound effects. Thanks for the tips on the cheaper fluids. Good sound levels and nice job on referring to previous episodes. Excellent term usage, gives you credit as a real expert! Overall, nice job...gimme some visuals next time!

Being a girl, my dad has always taken great care of my car for me. I'm not clueless by any means when it comes to cars, but this topic was a little bit over my head. I think you have such a great voice and would make a good radio personality. I like the little sound effects but would like some video or pictures. I enjoy your podcasts because you crack me up with your little quips. Great as usual.

Dude, the sound effects are right on. You give good information, and always show enthusiasm for your topic. The production is also very well put together (You must have produced it on a mac).

love the soundeffects of course. i definitely don't know anything about cars except how to change a tire. so the information you give is very helpful. i like that you break it down to simple terms and don't talk about anything without discussing its purpose or what it does in the car. you're very creative with a topic that could easily being boring to me. so good job.

Like always, you know exactly what you are talking about and it shows in this episode as well. Glad to see you're giving the macs a try. Sounded very nice and always funny. Great Job.

The transition sounds were great and the info you gave was the most in-depth yet. I’ll be paying more attention to the fluids I buy from now on. Great closing.

Good use of music and sound effects throughout your podcast. The information you got across to the listeners was very clear and easy to understand. I didn't have to turn up my speakers too much to be able to hear your podcast. Your podcast was excellent and really informative. Great job man!
